​First Baptist church, organized in 1849, & exists solely for the glory of God. In the past 160+ years there have been a multitude of people who have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and many who have grown in the grace & knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

​Our Mission is to share the Gospel & Make Disciples. Morning & Evening services are best defined as traditional & practical. We sing traditional hymns with a mix of newer biblically sound songs. ​Our Pastor preaches & teaches from the Bible energetically, exegetically, & emphasizes practical application.​

PASTOR 

​Preaching & Teaching the Word.
Pastor graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, IA. He has a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Ministry with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling. Pastor Matt & his wife Shari have a heart for rural ministry, impacting young & old with the Truth of God's Word, and serving in the community. ​​
