Our Beliefs:
The Good News!!
Romans 3:23 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
"There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. 12 They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one." Romans 3:10-12
Our good deeds or good works are not "good" enough, because God demands perfection.
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We are slaves to sin. A price had to be paid for our sin. The penalty for our sin is death. God gives us, "undeserving sinners", a free gift, Salvation.
Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
The free gift that God provided for us was the death of His only Son Jesus Christ, who took our place on the Cross of Calvary. He suffered and died so that we wouldn't have to.
Romans 10:13 - For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
It's that easy. The next verse explains how.
Romans 10:9,10 - that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The first step is to admit that you have sinned and to confess your guilt or unrighteousness to God. Second, if you truly believe in your heart that God sent His Son to die on the cross for your sin, was buried, and rose again on the third day; then scripture says that you will be saved. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life."
Revelation 3:20a - Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
